A: Pumpkins After Dark event is located inside the waterpark but the pools are not open.
A: A ride pass can be purchased onsite for $9.99. Rides include the Screaming Eagle, Bayou Bounce, Balloons, Lafitte’s Fure, Rolling Thunder, and Spindletop. Zip Line tours will be available to purchase.
Early: Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the time on your ticket.
Late: We cannot guarantee access. Please note, missed dates will not be refunded.

A: The Pumpkins After Dark event features a half-mile walking path, fairgrounds with games, rides, and photo-ops to explore. Plus there are food vendors and roaming entertainers! The pumpkin pathway is a self-paced one-way walkthrough with no re-entry. Please take your time, create memories, and take photos along the way!
A: Yes. Parking is free.

A: The event is wheelchair accessible, but the terrain is variable which may require assistance. The terrain includes paved pathway, grass, and loose gravel. The pumpkin pathway is a half-mile loop inside the event, this path has areas with slight inclines, and declines, and may have uneven surfaces.
*To make your experience as comfortable as possible, we recommend that you have assistance when you attend the event. Some areas may be difficult to navigate and will require assistance.
A: Yes, the park is stroller-friendly. Please note the pumpkin pathway is mostly paved, there are areas with slight inclines, declines, uneven and soft surface terrain.
A: Sorry, only service animals can attend Pumpkins After Dark. Please leave your pets at home.

A: Warning: This event contains strobe, bright and flashing lights that are not suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy and may cause discomfort for people with other medical conditions. Other special effects include fog machines and blacklights. The event incorporates music and sound effects that may cause discomfort to people suffering from sensitivity to loud sounds.
A: By entering this event you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and the release for publication to be used for news, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, and any other purpose by Lantern Events Inc.
If you wish to not have your photo taken, please let the individual taking the photo know or contact Show Management.

Tickets
A: In the Fever App, available on Google Play and the Apple Store On the Fever website
A: We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
A: Enjoy the flexibility with VIP access – arrive at any time during event hours on your selected date. VIP Package includes Monster Maze admission and a free gift!

A: Big Rivers Water Park 2025 season pass holders will have free access to the fairgrounds with rides, games & fun entertainment! Admission can be purchased to access to the Pumpkin Pathway.
**Note: aerial rides not included (zip line).
A: This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please** contact us** and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow.

A: The event will operate rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
The Safety of our guests and staff is important. Should an event date be canceled due to extreme weather conditions, a new event date will be provided. All email correspondence will be sent to the email the tickets were purchased under.
Tickets are non-refundable, and missed dates cannot be honored.
A: You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don’t have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please** contact us**.
A: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. No refunds are permitted under any circumstances. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
A: Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking “Transfer Tickets” on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
A: You can find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.

A: Yes, this event is designed to be enjoyed by all ages. You will come across some spooky displays and effects however there are NO jump scares at Pumpkins After Dark.
A: Yes, photography and videos are encouraged for personal use. For your own safety please remain on the pathway.
A: There are washrooms located near the front entrance.
A: Yes! The pizza spot, funnel cake, drink shack, and taco truck will be open.
About The Show
A: Pumpkins After Dark is Canada’s largest fall and Halloween festival. This all-ages outdoor event is a celebration of all things Halloween with over 10,000+ hand carved pumpkins that are built into large pumpkin art installations. The event also features live pumpkin carving demonstrations, live entertainment, food trucks with fall treats & sweets, photo ops, and much more! Discover your Halloween tradition this fall at one of our locations.
A: We use a combination of synthetic and organic pumpkins throughout the event. It has taken our team years to perfect our synthetic pumpkin recipe that allows us to carve and create pumpkins that will last and perform just like the organic ones. Every pumpkin is hand-carved by Canadian artists, using 2D and 3D techniques. Our large installations are made of synthetic pumpkins (a unique low density foam) to mimic the texture and density of an organic pumpkin. Since these pumpkins won’t rot, our artists can design and build larger, even more impressive displays.
A: Our creative team works year-round designing, carving and building the pumpkin displays. It takes approximately 11 months to create one show.
